Polido for English at work
Write work English that sounds like you, not like a translation
If English is your second language, you know the feeling: the message is correct, but it sounds stiff, too formal, or not quite how a native speaker would say it. So you read it three times before you hit send. Polido rewrites the whole message, not one word at a time: type it the way it comes out, double-tap right ⌘ (right Ctrl on Windows), and it comes back as natural English in the same box, in Slack, Teams, email or anywhere else you type.
Then type anywhere and double-tap right ⌘
Free: 100 rewrites in your first two weeks, then 20 a month. Pro is $10 a month for 500 ($8 billed annually).
The whole message, not just the mistakes
A grammar checker underlines errors. Polido rewrites the sentence the way a native speaker would put it, so it reads natural, not just correct.
In place, in any app
No copying into a separate tool and back. Slack, Teams, Mail, Gmail, Notion: the rewrite lands where you typed.
Pick how formal
Casual for a teammate, Formal for a client. Not sure it's right? Press Tab and say what to change.
Questions
- Will it change what I meant?
- No. It keeps your point and your facts, and changes how it's said. It also learns how you write over time, so it sounds more like you, not less.
- Can I write in my own language and get English back?
- Yes, on request: after a rewrite, press Tab and type “in English”. By default Polido keeps the language you wrote in, so it never translates by surprise.
- Does it help with email replies?
- Yes. In a reply, it reads the thread, so a short rough answer comes back as a proper reply to what was actually asked.
- Is it a grammar checker?
- No. A grammar checker flags errors one at a time. Polido rewrites the whole message for where it's going, with one keystroke, in the app you're already in.
